Unique natural landscapes will evoke a sense of awe and wonder as you follow the trail of cowboys and Navajo Indians through windswept desert vistas and winding river valleys for a remarkable journey that you won’t soon forget.

We invite you to explore more of America’s West on this 8-day tour combining National and State Parks, monuments, canyons and rail. The adventure begins in Salt Lake City, Utah, where big city ambience meets alpine snow resort, site of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Get a glimpse into the fascinating history with a city tour that includes where Brigham Young envisioned the building of this Mormon city. As we motorcoach to Moab, you’ll be in awe of the numerous natural sandstone arches and a variety of unique geological formations decorating Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Take in the amazing landscape of countless canyons, mesas and buttes along the Colorado and Green Rivers. From Moab, we’ll explore Mesa Verde National Park where 14 centuries of history and some of the most notable and best preserved archeological sites are found. Leading publications have named Mesa Verde the #1 Historic Monument in the World. You’ll see where the ancient Pueblo Indians built their spectacular cliff dwellings and mesa-top villages. A “highpoint” of your trip will be the journey through spectacular canyons and remote wilderness aboard the Colorado’s Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Train, voted one of the “Top Ten Most Exciting Train Journeys in the World.” Other tour features include a Navajo guided tour of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and Bryce National Park where you'll immediately be awed by towering rock pinnacles, strangely sculptured hoodoos and immense semi-circular rock amphitheatres.
